Oh dear… Its called a joke people! You know, those things people make for humor. Or being on the internet for lulz.
Not all jokes are funny to everyone. Not everyone ‘gets it’. Not all jokes are in good taste. In fact the joke made by overratedthought is pretty lame when you look at it. Its not his best work.
I bet some of you out there are into some pretty sick shit like dead baby jokes, jokes about necrophilia, jokes about dead celebrities, jokes about defiling Jesus in some way etc etc. If we can joke about stuff like that and its generally accepted (though maybe in poor taste to some) why not goth and World Goth Day too?
Deathrockets rips on everyone - even each other. That is the great thing about it. Its nothing personal, its just fun for everyone. They contribute to the scene by shit talking and making jokes. And people in the scene find them amusing and fire them right back at them. People taking the piss out of stuff they love.
I daresay overratedthought is getting off to this reaction against his lame little joke and thinks its bloody hilarious.
There, somebody else said it better. :D

God I love these anti-stupid posts.
Amen
Ahahaa, I posted this on Facebook. I shall post it here, too!
Well, the followup to “Aliens of London” (“World War Three”) was rather meh, in my opinion. It seemed to drag on unnecessarily. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve really been enjoying my foray into Doctor Who so far, but sometimes there’s something about the show that just irritates me and I can’t place what it is.
For one thing, the Doctor can be kind of a jerk at times and he doesn’t always know what he’s doing. This could easily be just a character flaw, and it’s often played for laughs, but I don’t know if it’s just not handled well in the writing/directing, or if I’ve been exposed to too much Tumblr fandom bias acting like the Doctor is basically Jesus. He is obviously “human” despite being an alien with two hearts.
But that brings me to the episode, “Dalek,” or “Doctor Vs. Murderous Little R2-D2,” which certainly made up for the previous episode. That was intense. There was some fantastic acting on display as well as the creature effects. I was quite surprised at all the feels that were roiling inside me toward the end of the episode, and all throughout it, really. Major kudos for making an obnoxious evil little squid thing in a giant salt-shaker sympathetic.
The only thing that bugged me about the episode (and again, this is something that tends to bug me about the show in general) is that the other humans are so stupid. An incident in particular was when the Doctor is shouting instructions to the guards at the compound on how to handle the Dalek. The guard just replies, “that’ll do, Doctor! I think we can handle one little robot!” or something like that. Um. These appear to be highly trained security guards. They know the Dalek is super dangerous, and they know who the Doctor is. I know this show has kind of a goofy tone, but that was kind of too much of a suspension of disbelief for moi.
But it’s just stuff like that. I’m sure the Whovians will all start messaging me in outrage and try to correct my ignorance now, but I truly do like the show so far. And like I said, that was a fantastic episode and the next one wasn’t bad, either.

How is the news media controlling the world a futuristic thing? ;P
